By engaging with Guiding Light Mental Healthcare Services (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms govern your use of our services, including therapeutic treatment, scheduling, billing, and communication methods, including SMS text messaging.

1. Services Provided

Guiding Light Mental Healthcare Services offers licensed mental health counseling and psychotherapy. Our services are intended for clients seeking support for mental and emotional well-being. These services are confidential, provided in accordance with professional ethical standards, and governed by applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA.

2. Client Responsibilities

By becoming a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete personal and health information

  • Attend scheduled appointments or cancel/reschedule at least 24 hours in advance

  • Communicate any changes to your contact or insurance information

  • Respect the confidentiality and safety of the therapeutic environment

3. Payment and Insurance

Clients are responsible for payment of all services not covered by insurance. Payments are due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Billing inquiries can be addressed by calling our office directly at (770) 740-7440.

4. SMS Communication Terms

SMS Consent & Communication

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from Guiding Light Mental Healthcare Services. Phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will never be shared with third parties for marketing.

5. Types of SMS Communications

With your consent, you may receive SMS messages related to:

  • Conversational messages

Example:
“I just wanted to say I really appreciated your openness in our session today. You’re making meaningful progress. By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages from Guiding Light Mental Healthcare Services about conversational topics. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or for any assistance, reply HELP at (770-740-7440). Message and data rates may apply. Messaging frequency may vary. 6. Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on your activity and engagement.
Example: You may receive up to 2 messages per week regarding follow ups on well being.

7. Messaging & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless provider and service plan. Charges for SMS messaging are your responsibility. These charges may vary for domestic and international users.

You may opt-in to SMS communication in any of the following ways:

  • Verbally, during an in-person or phone conversation

You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message.
